I wake up to this question every day. Not in my head - in my inbox. Often multiple times in my inbox. Often by people who could really use the money.
"I've had an email telling me I've won the lottery, but it all sounds too good to be true, is it a lottery scam?".
If you get that far, you've pretty much figured out that it is one of the classic lottery scam emails doing the rounds. But if you're unsure, or your friends or relatives are convinced their email is a genuine one - please point them this way, before some scumbag takes them for a ride...
